Xmas ‘22 10 DAY CHALLENGE - Remember this is your own challenge, do what you can, be consistent and most importantly, its time for YOU!!!
Day 1 - Movement - Head to Toe
So, lets start today with just some gentle mobility exercises, working from the top to the bottom of our body.
This class will help you feel more energised & motivated for day 2.
Day 2 - A healthy spine is a happy one
Give your back some love today, with these gentle exercises to help flex, extend & rotate the spine.
Learn to take care & look after your spine, it’s so important, to help prevent injury!
Day 3 - Move those hips
This class really works on the range of movement through the hips, strengthening the muscles around the area and helping improve flexibility. You will learn
that stabilizing the hips is just as important when moving through the joint.
Day 4 - Abs, Abs, Abs
This is a simple, but very effective Pilates abs routine. The basic curl up is used as a base throughout a lot of these routines.
You sure will feel this one!
Day 5 - Fire up the Glutes
Today is about the glutes which sometimes get forgotten about, but are so important to strengthen.
Why???
They need to work together with the hips, abs & lower back to create a strong body, so lets fire them up.
Day 6 - Toned Arms
You will feel the connection from your shoulders into the upper back in todays class, helping you to improve posture and generally feel GOOD!
Add in small hand weights to challenge yourself a bit more.
Day 7 - Back Extension
Today’s class is about strengthening the lower back. It’s these muscles together with the hips, glutes & core that create ‘The Powerhouse’.
A strong body is what we need!!
Day 8 - Posture
‘Never slough as doing so compresses the lungs, overcrowds other vital organs, rounds the back & throws you off balance’
What a powerful quote by Jospeh Pilates and that is why today, I’m going to share exercises to help you with posture.
Day 9 - Friday flow
For todays class I have taken exercises from the previous 8 days to make it a nice full body flow class.
Day 10 - Stretch & Relax
Put on some relaxing music for this one and enjoy.
